The RGT901 GPS Tracker connects to satellites and local cellular networks to provide accurate GPS Coordinates and street addresses. It comes with an activated SIM Card with 1 month of service. The tracker is working and ready to use as soon as you buy it. There is a subscription that you will need to pay if you want the keep the service active after the first month. We offer 1 month, 3, 6 and 12 months subscriptions.
There are many ways you can pay for your subscription, (1) HERE on our website, (2) over the phone, (3) In store (at our Norcross, GA Office). The Tracker itself is yours, but if the subscription isn't paid before the expiration date given, service will be terminated. If service is terminated, you will need to re-activate your tracker service and add a subscription. If you don't need to use the tracker for awhile (more than 2 months), If might be beneficial to let your service lapse and re-activate it later, just be aware there will be a $39 re-activation fee on top of the subscription.
The tracker is powered by wiring in your vehicle's battery or another 5V-12V connection. Just connect to power and it starts working. There is a very small inside for testing purposes. It will only last for about 3 hours.
The RGT901 GPS Tracker works 2 ways:
(1) Real-Time (30s update) online tracking. This can be accessed by PC/Mac (website), tablet or phone (app).
(2)Text alerts and tracking/Monitoring by manually texting the device, (direct response).
(1) Real-Time (30s update) online tracking:
The RGT915 connects to satellites and local cellular networks to send GPS tracking coordinates to our servers. Our servers then send those coordinate to our website or app and you get a Google Maps Interface for easy viewing. There you can see the current position and history of the GPS tracker. The RGT905 GPS tracker will come with a pre-configured login ID and Password to login to our website or app.
(2)Text alerts and tracking/Monitoring by manually texting the device:
When you want to locate the tracker, text the GPS tracker and it will send you a text message with the tracker's location information to your phone. Just click the text message with a Google map link sent to your smart phone and it will open and show the tracker current location. We can also set of text alerts for the tracker so it will text you whenever the tracker detects motion. This also provide a secondary connection in case the website or app is down, or your phone is having a compatibility issue with the app.
